I have NEVER made meatloaf in the Crock-Pot…until now. This was so easy and we loved it! I made a couple of tweaks to a recipe I saw online and we’ll definitely have it again! I think next time, I will put it in the oven for a bit once it’s done, just to make it firmer. Just my personal taste.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup quick-cooking oats uncooked
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2/3 cup ketchup
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp mustard
Directions
- Lightly grease your Crock-Pot.
- Place milk & egg in a large bowl.
- Whisk until completely blended.
- Add your cheese, oats, soup mix and ground beef to egg mixture.
- Mix all of these ingredients together until well blended.
- Place in slow cooker and form into a loaf.
- In a separate bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar and mustard.
- Pour this on top of meatloaf.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- ENJOY!
